College Park is quietly becoming the best food suburb in Atlanta, and I went looking for proof. You know the drill: hit the strip malls, skip the chains, follow the smell of charcoal and grease.

I found a dozen places doing serious work, from a bar pouring proper old fashioneds next to a Porsche showroom to a coffee counter that flips into a cocktail lounge before sunset. The fried green tomatoes at one spot alone justify the drive.

Read through the list and pick your next move before the secret gets out.
